#

Please wait for couple of hours and check your ‘junk’ folder. Make sure your spam filters allow email from Software AG email information@marketing.softwareag.com

If it has been 24 hours and you have still not received your email, please email TECHcommunity  and we can check what happened.

What is the download size?
#

The size is approx. 2.7 GB and depending on your network speed it may take a while to download.

How long is the free trial license valid for?
#

At Software AG, we believe in innovating faster. Every year we have 2 major releases of webMethods platform. As a result our Free Trial versions are configured with a license of 180 days. Depending on when you download the trial, your license may be valid for less than 180 days.

The license key is not working. Is there something I can do to fix it?
#

Your browser may display the XML file. When you save the license from the browser, open the saved license file to make sure that the first line of line starts with <?xml version="1.0" encoding="US-ASCII"?> .

Note: License Key Files will not have corresponding version numbers, as Reference License Keys are implemented since 10.x Release.

Depending on the browser, this line can be different. If you see a different line, please change it to

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="US-ASCII"?>

My Free Trial license has expired. What can I do?
#

You have two options. First is to download the newer version of webMethods Free Trial and continue your evaluation. Second option is to contact Software AG and purchase your license.

Webmethods until 9.5 does no longer include broker. It has been replaced by UM (Universal Messaging).
Posted on 5/13/14 7:55 AM in reply to Mahesh Kumar S.
But you can still install broker and use broker on webMethods 9.5

Hello Everyone..

I have installed the WebMethods 9.7 trial version and I am trying to install a package (Start CloudStreams_Tutorial.zip) which is required for me to work on cloudStream. For some reason, I am not able to import. Unlike in previous versions I dont see the folder \IntegrationServer\replicate\inbound, I did create these folder structure but still nothing shows up in the IS Admin page: Packages > Management > Install Inbound Releases

Is there any other way of importing packages to IS?

Please let me know

Thanks
Deepak.

Deepak,
see if you have the folder structure as Integrationserver\instances\default\replicate .., where default is your default instance.

After placing the .zip file in replicate\inbound, you will be able to install the package..

Krishna, Cloudstreams is now part of WM 9.7 ., request to get the 9.7 trial and install.

Hi,

I have previously worked on webMethods and now I'm pursuing Master's in Computer Science. I want to install wM in my system so that I can prepare for interviews.
I have created an account on techcommunity and installed the following free trial files for Windows:
Windows installer (SoftwareAGInstaller201410.exe)
Windows archive (64bit) (webMFREEDownload97(Win64bit).zip)

But when I run the installer and try to the image file (webMFREEDownload97(Win64bit).zip), it throws an error saying: The file is not found, or corrupted, or you don't have enough access

Please can you help me to know what the problem is and what do I do to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Priya

Hi Mahesh,

Thanks for the reply!
Yea looks like the image was corrupted. I downloaded it again and it worked!
I need to download the Developer, IS and Broker documentations. But i'm not able to. Is it because I do not have empower account?
Can you please help me find some links to download the same.

Thanks,
-Priya

You can download the docs without empower account also but make sure you at-least have a SAG tech community login

Try the below link:
