# Adabas and Node.js

We have just released the Adabas access package for Node.js called adabas-tcp.

adabas-tcp hides the complexity of the Adabas calls and offers the classic CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations for databases. It uses the Adabas TCP interface for communication with Adabas under Linux, Unix and Windows (LUW). For the ease of installation, “adabas-tcp” is available at the Node Package Manager ([url][https://www.npmjs.com/package/adabas-tcp[/url]](https://www.npmjs.com/package/adabas-tcp%5B/url%5D)).
