# Documents/Information on ADABAS in Mainframe

Hi All,

I am going to work as ADABAS DBA. Could you please help me by providing the documents or information related to ADABAS DBA.

I am having 18 years of experience on Mainframe technologies, worked as DB2 DBA, application development & support task.

There are two ways to reach the on-line documentation.

1. If you are a licensed user, you will have credentials to access the Empower portal at [https://empower.softwareag.com/](https://empower.softwareag.com/).

2. You can update your Tech Community profile to include the Documentation Area of Interest. That procedure is found in the Tech Community Access to Documentation FAQs: [http://techcommunity.softwareag.com/pwiki/-/wiki/Main/Tech](http://techcommunity.softwareag.com/pwiki/-/wiki/Main/Tech) Community+Access+to+Documentation+FAQs  
Refer to the second bullet there.

And then spend a lot of time in DBA Reference Summary (Quick Reference).
