# Entire Connection Supporting Smart Card for Authentication?

Is there plan for Entire Connection to support the use of Smart Card for authenticating a user to the mainframe? We currently require the use of userid and password for that purpose.

Currently there are no smart cards supported with Entire Connection. If this feature is important please open a brain storm request for it.
