# How to setup https

If I want to make all the connections into and out of Mediator to be https, do I need to setup anything inside Mediator?  
  
Is there any technical document / know how to describe the procedures?

Hi Mullin,  
  
In the “Using Gateways” section of the documentation, subsection “Using the HTTP Gateway” there is a description of using https. Does that relate to your question or do you need something else?

How about if I want to   
  
1. Send XML through https into Mediator?  
2. Email with encryption with digital certificate by the Mail gateway?  
  
Is it possible to do so at this version?
