# Reading a barcode

Does anyone have examples of how to code reading a barcode with a barcode reader into a map? Example:  
Scan a barcode to fill a field with the barcode value within a map.  
Needs to scan in multiple barcodes before processing map.

any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK, a barcode reader works like a additional keyboard. The question is: Does the reader send an ENTR after transmitting the barcode? (To answer this question just scan a barcode into an simple text-editor).
