Hello all!

Screen Builder XML Viewer prints out the following:

> [@](#):
>
> An error has occurred in converting the screen format

We did some “investigations” and found, that some database-fields containing control-characters were displayed in that case.

To narrow down the problem, we wrote the following Natural Program:

```auto
input 'control-character 1F on next page. Press ENTR'
input 'here it is - in brackets' H'281F29'
end
```

Input #1 works of course.
Input #2 crashes with the error described above.

We think, it’s a bug inside Screen Builder. Maybe the control character is not properly masked with &#x1F inside the XML-document…

Can anybody reproduce this “bug”?

Our configuration:
NAT 6.1.1 PL 22 on Solaris
Entire Screen Builder 5.2.1.9 on Windows 2003 Server
