Hi,

I know about using the helproutines from within a MAP. But is there any way that I can call to HELPROUTINE from a program…?

Yes; the %J command, issued via a SET CONTROL statement, will allow you to invoke a helproutine. However, there is no provision for passing parameters to the helproutine.
