# validation for decimal

hi,

how to do validatin for decimal in natural,iam using edit mask in map,when the user enters wrong data error message is showing in english.but the user want message in other language.

Edit the option ULANG in your parameter module. As an alternative you can set \*LANGUAGE in your Natural program to the desired value.

And the user can also change the language code by issuing the terminal control comand %L=code, where “%” is the terminal control character (by default “%”) and “code” the language code (e.g. 1 for English, 2 for German). Is this for a specific user or should the error message be displayed in another language for all users?

If it is for a specific user, the language code can be set in his user profile in Natural Security.
