ADABAS 7.1.3 on z/OS 1.7

I must upgrade z/OS on customer site
they run ADABAS 7.1.3

curenttlu use ADABAS 7.1.3 (and don’t want to change anything)

and z/OS 1.4
I try to upgrade z/OS to 1.7 (higest avaliable to coexist in one sysplex)
and have a problem - NUC don’t start

PARM ERROR - 033

is this version/relase is suported on this z/OS ?

There is an APAR from IBM for z/OS 1.7 for a problem with a multivolume BDAM data set that has more than 65535 tracks.

Can you confirm this is the case here ?

asso and data have more then 100.000 tracks

may be you have APAR number ?

The APAR is AA13803.HDZ11K0

PTF was already installed

The Adabas Version is since many years out-of-support. :frowning: :frowning:

Please check if zap AO713041 is applied. If it is not applied and the customer is still paying maintenance, then please check with SAG support that they deliver you fix AO713041 -maybe this helps.
