1.3 NaturalONE and Natural for Ajax

The default development environment supports the statement enhancements on Natural for z/OS and Natural for Linux and Cloud.

NaturalONE Token-Based Authentication Support

NaturalONE will now be released with token-based authentication. This enhancement follows the successful introduction of token-based authentication in Natural for Ajax and Natural Availability Server in our last releases, extending modern, secure, and streamlined access across our portfolio.

  • Token-Based Authentication:
NaturalONE supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) for token-based authentication, enabling more secure and modern access management.
  • Linux-Only Availability:
This new authentication method applies to Natural for Linux environments.
  • Seamless Integration:
The OIDC support allows integration with existing identity providers, simplifying user access and strengthening compliance with corporate security policies.

These enhancements make NaturalONE and Natural for Ajax more secure, modern, and aligned with industry best practices for authentication.

Simplify NaturalONE and Natural Development Server license check

To make deployment and usage easier on z/OS and Linux, we have simplified the license handling for NaturalONE and Natural Development Server (NDV). Customers no longer need to manage or obtain a separate license for these products — the license is automatically validated on the Natural server with your Natural license.

Please note: this change does not apply to Natural for Windows, which continues to require its own licensing.
