Can COM-PLETE replace CICS’s APPC and LUN 6.2 calls without tremendous effort?
A potential customer is inquiring about this since CICS is costing them so much.

An excerpt from the COM-PLETE documentation:
“Com-pletes APPC Interface allows online programs to act as servers in an APPC conversation.”
“Com-plete fully supports BASIC and MAPPED conversations with Synclevel=None.”
So depending on what functions need to be replaced it might be possible, but more information is required to tell for sure.
