Resuming the transfer of a file facility in MFT

I am trying to use an move event to do a large file movement from one folder to another. To test the this resume functionality it I just removed the connection to network (abruptly). So later If I connect to the network , will I get the transfer done. ? How can I check whether it has been done from the point it was interrupted? If it does not transfers the file at all what to do??
