A simpler way to find what you need in TECH Community

We’re always looking for ways to make TECH Community easier and more intuitive to use. Whether you’re looking for an answer, exploring a product topic, checking out upcoming events or catching up on the latest release information, we want to help you get there faster.

That’s why we’ve made a number of design and UX improvements across the community. Here’s what’s new:

:compass: A new sidebar to help you find your way

Our new sidebar navigation is now permanently visible, so you can quickly access the areas that matter most. Find forum sections, events, user groups, product release information and more, all in one place.

Want a little more space? Simply click the ☰ hamburger menu to close the sidebar whenever you like.

:label: Your favorite topics, just a click away

We’ve also added popular tags directly to the sidebar. Use them to quickly filter the community and discover conversations, questions and content around the products and topics you’re most interested in.

:gear: Make the sidebar yours

You can also personalize your sidebar to show the sections and tags that are most relevant to you.

Simply click **Edit:fountain_pen: ** in the sidebar and choose the categories and/or tags you want to see. Your personalized sidebar makes it even easier to get straight to the products, topics and conversations you care about most.

:rocket: Release information right at your fingertips

Looking for the latest release information? There’s no need to search through forum posts anymore.

The new sidebar gives you direct access to our Release Notes section, where you can find current and past release notes and roadmaps for our products.

:eyes: See more at a glance with updated topic cards

We’ve also refreshed our topic cards to give you more useful information before you even open a topic.

Alongside the title and description, you can now see:

  • Who posted the topic
  • How many replies and likes it has received
  • Which forum section it belongs to
  • Which tags are associated with it
  • A “Solved”-tag in the upper right corner if a solution to the post was accepted

This makes it easier to quickly scan content and decide what’s relevant to you.

 More ways to react

A thumbs-up isn’t the only way to join the conversation anymore. You can now choose from a range of reactions to show how you feel about a post.

And if you come across a question that you have too, simply use the Me Too button to let the author and the community know that you’re interested in an answer as well.
